Permanent contracts
Using direct advertising to fill your permanent vacancies can be time consuming and costly. With our efficient service and personal attention of your permanent staffing needs, we can provide an end-to-end solution that ensures you get the right candidate time and time again. We are happy to meet with you to discuss your staffing requirements in-depth, and we will carefully select candidates, test their skills, forward CVs and arrange all interviews on your behalf. We have a wealth of experience conducting successful recruitment campaigns for our clients, and we look forward to sharing this knowledge with you.
Fixed-term contracts
Over recent years, more and more of our clients have requested this alternative staffing solution. The recruitment procedure is the same, with the successful candidate supplied on a fixed-term contract with a defined start and finish date. This provides flexibility for organisations with workforce requirements for a period of time or a specified project, and broadens the field of candidates available whilst giving you the security of a direct contract between yourself and the employee.
Temporary staffing
With thousands of temporary workers out in placements each month, across all five of our divisions, temporary staffing is the largest section of HCL. We understand that these types of short term vacancies are vital to the smooth operation of any organisation; covering staff shortages, annual leave and sickness.
With offices in London, Milton Keynes, Leeds, Skipton and Newcastle and a temporary staff database of over 20,000 candidates, HCL is ideally positioned to meet all your temporary medical staffing requirements. Our impressive list of established clients stretches the length and breadth of the UK and are testament to our ability to deliver, and our high levels of customer service. HCL Clarity
Accounting for nearly two thirds of the annual NHS budget, staffing is by far the largest single cost in healthcare. Better use of substantive and bank employees, while cutting the cost of agency workers has the potential to deliver huge savings to trusts. State of the art management information is vital in achieving this strategic objective.
HCL Clarity is our modular workforce management solution, designed specifically to meet the needs of the NHS and the healthcare market. By harnessing HCL Clarity’s user-friendly technology and being better informed about the dynamics of a workforce, trusts can reduce agency and bank spend, achieve back office efficiency savings and make sound decisions about the future workforce. Simply put, trusts can deliver better patient care at a lower cost.
What makes HCL Clarity different?
- Flexibility: HCL Clarity can be tailored to meet each trust’s individual objectives with the ability to seamlessly integrate with existing platforms.
- People: As the largest provider of temporary staff to the NHS we are highly skilled at workforce planning – it’s in our blood and it’s what we do best. HCL employs experienced healthcare staffing professionals - all with hands-on implementation experience. We have combined this know-how to create HCL Clarity, the best technology solution on the market, created in collaboration with Skillstream. Skillstream is a workforce management software supplier, who powered temporary recruitment for the 2012 London Olympic Games and notably streamlined the recruitment processes of HSBC, IBM and Orange.
- Support: Implementing HCL Clarity into a trust is not the end of our service. The HCL Clarity team stays on site after implementation to ensure any new system or process is truly embedded in the fabric of the commissioning organisation. A dedicated support desk managed by HCL is also available, helping trusts with their workforce planning and offering advice for both short and long term needs.
